I was in Santa Rosa a few weeks ago with the family … and hungry. So, naturally, yelp saved the day. We stopped by Catelli’s in Downtown Geyserville (fun fact: I’m obsessed with any town with a name that ends in -ville). It’s Italian, rustic to its core, average prices for great Italian food – emphasis on GREAT, because I haven’t found an Italian place that compares since.
We ordered several dishes, ranging from chicken parmesan over polenta (bomb!) and several pasta dishes, all of which were amazing. The highlights, however, were the truffle fries (best you’ve ever had I promise!), burratta and prosciutto plate (even if you’re lactose intolerant you HAVE to order this), and bread pudding (drooool).
(Excuse the quality of the bread pudding picture. By that point I was in food euphoria and somewhat drunk off wine.)
